Service Description

Scaling/ Debridement is a Non Surgical Periodontal Therapy. This procedure is to remove dental plaque and calculus (tartar) above and below the gum line down to the bottom of the pocket. Dental plaque and calculus causes gum infection (gingivitis), and leads to bone loss (periodontitis) if it is left untreated. It is routinely performed to prevent gum disease and have a healthy mouth.
